I just bought an Apple TV 3rd Gen (2021) and it has a new silver remote which I really like but was afraid it would get sticky with constant use and gets scratched. I decided to purchase this remote control case because I liked the look and when I got it I knew I made the right choice. For only $8, it's hard to pass up. Works great with all buttons, even out of line of sight. I particularly like that the power button and Siri buttons are covered in silicone, but that doesn't affect usability at all! The handle on the bottom is great for sitting on smooth surfaces. It will no longer slip off accidentally and you will feel more comfortable holding it in your hand. I feel tidier with buttons. The only real issue I could mention is that the lanyard was a little tricky to install. I ended up threading a small tie and attaching string to it before fastening the tie. Then all you had to do was twist the tie through both holes until the tip was stretched. Cut and remove the zipper while holding the drawstring. Finally, attach the strap to itself to complete the installation. There were no instructions with advice on how to install the strap, but for $8 I will never dock them. This is just an additional feature. I have a child who sometimes plays with the remote control so I wanted a lanyard. Will definitely buy again without a doubt!
