May spit out black dirt on first use. Let him run until he cleans up!
Not sure what these filters are but the very first one I've used - the very first use pushed out very black thick dirt! After letting the water flow for about ten minutes, it eventually cleared and tasted drinkable. I was just very surprised at the black color that came out of this filter when I first used it. I will use what I bought although not sure I will buy this brand again.
