Review on 🎨 Colormetrics Gray Putty Butyl Tape - Single Roll, 1/8 inch x 1 inch x 30 feet by Bob Fasho

Used this when reassembling the engine bay of my Scout II Traveller. Initially, they used a form of butyl that was lubricated and distributed in various places. He was great to work with, fixing things to the fire, patching holes and keeping the rumble away. The name says the tape, but don't expect it to hold things together, it's just filler to fill gaps. In some cases I've cut shorter strips and stretched them so I don't have to deal with as much squashing, but it's easy enough to snip off the squished with a plastic blade. Very soft and sticky when warm, but hard when cold. Around 65F is a good operating temperature for a plant.
