My wife wrote this review: This is a good carpet. It's definitely water resistant (see video) which is nice to have on the back door when our dogs come in from outside. The padded back of the mat is soft, helping to prevent fatigue when standing for long periods. .The carpet looks well made. It comes with a rubber mat that can be cut to size to prevent slipping. They never work for me on our hardwood floors, but work well on low-pile tile or carpet. I didn't use it and just put something heavy on the corners of the rug to loosen it up so it lays flat after it's rolled up for shipping and used glue to hold my rug in place. The colors are pleasant and neutral and suit any interior. . The selvedge has a vinyl feel and I think it will wear off a bit over time, but for the price this is a very good rug. The surface of the rug is not soft but made of a hard woven material, which allows the rug to be used both indoors and outdoors.
