Fits 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 with a few minor modifications. Loosen the 3 screws on the handbrake and coat the new cable with some washing-up liquid (it slides more easily). Remove the rubber bushing from the old part and mount it on the new one, it's much easier to slide through the space between the handbrake and the car wall. Expand the hole on the handle to assemble and install as usual. Fits great and works great! Not as strong as the original part, but half the price! If you have common sense, patience and know how to use a range of drill bits and heads then this part is for you! If you're lazy and prefer to pay someone to do it, then I probably won't waste my time.
