Review on NGK 6290 Spark Plug by Larry Lackings

These are great NGK spark plugs. Can't comment on how or why another review thought he was getting four corks for $16. maybe very true (even a little high) for a copper core NGK, but it's not a copper core. These are laser platinum connectors and they cost ten dollars or more each. The connector itself is a fine NGK connector. OE specification for Saab four-cylinder turbos with T7, ie direct-ignition black cassette systems. Around 1999-2009 on Saab 9-3 and Saab 9-5. I've used them with great results, even converted a friend's Saab with just plugs when he bought a used 9-3 and said it didn't accelerate very well. Some previous owners installed a different specification/brand fork. The NGK PFR 6H-10 turned like new, and the MPG also improved greatly. Incidentally, the factory manuals from Saab expressly require NGK spark plugs. Not Denso, not Champion, not AC Delco, nothing that shows up when changing parts. only NGK. Try different spark plugs at the risk of ruining a $400 cartridge or at least getting mediocre performance from a fine four-cylinder turbo.
