Review on 🚰 Danco, Inc. 89205 Chrome Tub Spout Diverter Repair Kit - Efficient Solutions for Faucet Diverter Issues by Christopher Shavers

This should be the universal separator I need for my Danco bath spout. It was supposed to be an easy exchange, but but, but - not at all. The new "universal" part was too big and needed an exact fit. I tried sandpaper first but it didn't work - it would take forever! Luckily I have a Dremel tool/sanding tool that helped me a lot, so after taking the thing in and out and making other adjustments I finally got it done. Took over 3 hours! Also: The old parts fell out (3 pieces) and the new one comes in a blister (also 3 pieces each) to clarify the assembly. I had to find a video on YouTube and this guy made sure to explain the right way. The instructions on the blister pack are practically useless. Bottom line: if you have the time and lots of tools, you can do it, if not, good luck! I can not recommend!
