This product is fully functional and does the job of starting my classic VW bug. three stars? Easy. The product in the photo is not the same. If you're buying this (like me) because it's pictured with metal keys with the VW logo on them, you'll be disappointed when you open the box to find square plastic keys. Since my doors have round plastic keys this worked for me, unlike the last lock I bought which also came with round plastic keys. However, this is clearly NOT the item that appears in the list. For the same price I could order an ignition lock from any VW specialist shop and get the same or a better ignition lock. Based on this, I cannot recommend you to buy this product. Unless, of course, you're looking for square buttons with plastic overlays. If so, you've found a five-star product!
