Review on EZL03 Multi-Purpose Sharpener by EZE LAP by Brandon Rogers

I bought this for two reasons. First I heard that carbide sharpeners remove a lot of metal and I wanted to try them for repairs and reuse. This tool is not suitable for these tasks. Although it works fast for its size, a rough workbench works faster. Second, I saw a demonstration of a similar product that could apparently make a knife sharp enough to easily cut through magazine paper. I haven't tried magazine paper, but I couldn't get a close shave with this one. I don't know if this is a limitation of the tool or my technique.
