My friend is a woodworker and he asked for a leather apron for Christmas. His goal was to protect his clothes from wood glue and to keep his tools with him in one place so he wouldn't have to guess where he put things. I chose this one for him because it had better coverage and pockets for those two tasks and was also cheaper than some of the leather aprons that are sold specifically for woodworking. He gave me positive feedback about it, saying it was a good gift that was useful to him. Arrived in a nice almost linen zipped bag. I guarantee his apron will never be kept in there, but you can use the pocket to put small tools or whatever if you like.
