The clips are too weak for that. They are very easy to remove from the dashboard or trim. Tried to bend them to hold them but to no avail. The detail is slightly distorted. Stronger clamps can hold it better. Gaps can be seen in the photos. When I press one side where I want it, the other pops open. The factory part is very tight and tight. If I could remove the clips I would use them instead. The color is black as stated in the description. My dashboard is dark gray. Since the dashboard is black, it looks acceptable. Addendum: I contacted the seller a week ago. Instantly receive an automatic message about non-working hours. Since then nothing. Not so bad service! Reduced rating because of that.
