This KVM does exactly what it's supposed to. That is, it supports using one USB printer on multiple computers, even on different operating systems. The setting was literally "turn everything off, plug it in, turn everything on". Win2K makes a fuss about incorrectly disconnecting a USB device when migrating from Win2K to XP, but as long as there is no memory card in the printer, it's not a problem. KVM isn't cheap, but as far as I know it's the only one that does what it can.
