Not quite ready for prime time

Benefits. Build quality is good, setup is easy. Own VLAN must have Internet access and DHCP must be enabled for initial setup. After it got an IP address it was easy to add it to my website via the InstantOn portal. The VLAN configurations were automatically synchronized to match existing devices. minuses. VLANs can only be assigned to wireless networks. You cannot assign other native VLANs to the remaining 3 ports. It's a deal breaker. If you're using a flat network, this might not be a problem. Remarks. After adding it to your website, you can set a static IP address from the Advanced tab. Some also find it difficult to understand what E0/PT, E0, PT and the jumper are for. Basically, E0/PT and PT are internally connected. So if you're using a desktop stand, you'll need to leave the jumper on and connect the trunk to the E0/PT connector on the bottom. (See image) If you are wall mounting with a single group, remove the jumper and connect the connecting wire to E0 on the back panel. If you also have a phone in a solo group, connect the phone line from the wall to the back of the PT. return. Then connect your telephone line to the E0/PT socket below. (see image)

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Annoying
