Review on 💨 MagnaFlow 11226 Performance Muffler: Straight-Through, 2.5in Inlet/Outlet, Satin Finish - Classic Deep Exhaust Sound by Charles Jenkins

This product was a perfect match for my 2004 Chevy Silverado. I cut off the old muffler and threw it away with the rest of the exhaust pipe. I attached this muffler using a reducer with multiple muffler clips and it works great. Solid object around. The muffler produces a deep, grating, medium-volume sound when accelerating, but reduces the volume and hum when moving at a certain speed. My truck "cruises" in the 1500-2300 rpm range on city streets and highways, and the drone is pretty good. Generally loud when you want to and quiet when you don't want to. I think it's a great combination. Very happy with it. Note: 2.5" is the INTERNAL DIAMETER of both ends. If you are using this muffler on a 03-07 Silverado like mine, you will need a muffler as the standard hose on a truck is not 2.5".
