Review on ❄️ SubZero 17529 Universal Heavy Duty ArcticGuard Windshield Cover for Snow and Ice by Brian Piecuch

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Decent sun visor, bulky snow cover

Not the best for snow protection, but so far the best sun visor I've found for my SUV. For snow on small cars, it's too much trouble to put on and take off daily. Closing the curtains in the doors is awkward and time-consuming, both when putting them on and taking them off. It's too small to reach the doors on big cars, but it attaches to the mirrors quickly and easily, but it just doesn't hold up. In both cases the BOTTOM is held tight while the top wobbles what appears to be backwards. It's just a mediocre sun visor. Most of them are only 26 inches, while this one is larger and covers most of my SUV windshield. In fact, the reflective foil surface blocks the sunlight very well and keeps you cool, while anything that isn't reflective gets warm and warms up your car. Also, it's not rigid, so you can fold it up and store it under the driver's seat. Major advantage. However, because it's fragile, it can be difficult to attach to a window. And while I like being able to fold it up small, after a few months of daily use, the edges start cracking from repeated folding/unfolding, which is why I'm here, trawling through hundreds of lists of sun visor junk that doesn't work work, try to find something a little better. Not a very good sun visor to be honest but it manages to put most of the others to shame as they are complete rubbish so well worth the price of admission!

Pros
  • Quick and easy to put on and take off
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
