I have a Stand-Up Paddle that converts to a kayak. Sometimes I use it as a pure SUP and put others on it, which means I need another paddle (I already have a SUP). When I saw this adjustable one I thought it was brilliant but too good to be true? Well I've been using it in Tahoe, Bodega Bay and other bodies of water since I've had it and it's worked really well so far. The parts are very easy to swap out and the difference from my regular caliper is that it has grooves that hold the parts in place. That's good design. My regular auxiliary paddle, which cost me more, partially clicks but they wobble a bit due to the lack of that groove design. This paddle also floats, at least long enough for me to pick it up after a few drops in the water. The only downside I see is that the pouch that came with it fell apart on the second use and I don't think it will last long. Although the paddle is great.
