The thing reminds me of what I had as a child. I like that it rotates and offers a lot of sounds. I wish there were more songs because my daughter loves that, but we'll do our best. There are two songs, one on each "side". Some of the sounds are a little annoying, as are all the sounds and songs in these toys after you've heard them 2 million times. My daughter loved it the first time she got it to walk on her own by pulling the handle all the way back. For those buying based on one of the old school versions, be aware that this thing is about half the size of the one we probably all remember. On the positive side, you can easily take it with you in your car.
