I usually have good luck with Netgear products but this WAC120 seems like a lemon. I've tried all sorts of bug fixes and firmware updates but the issues haven't gone away and upon further investigation others have had the exact same issues. After a day or two, wireless connections slow down to a bare minimum and eventually die. Rebooting the access point fixes the issue for a day or two, after which Wi-Fi performance begins to slow down again. Netgear's support was of no real help other than trying the obvious fixes (different cable, different channel, hard reset, etc.). My Wi-Fi clients are mainly Apple iPhones and iPads and they all had problems but not immediately, at the same time some will die first. while others continued to work for a while. I will be returning this product and looking for a more reliable WAP 802.11ac solution. I think the price was too good to be true.
