These Traction Blocks are LETHAL when used near their advertised 10 ton rating! ANY AND ALL jerking blocks that rely on a dangerously small, flimsy clip ring holding a pin that holds TEN THOUSAND POUNDS is rigging madness, not to mention physics. I had to try it myself given the price and in fact the clip broke and the line exploded under 8000lbs load 3 times in 2 days of butt pulling with a lead wire puller which is a very controlled pull. Needless to say I will be going back to my yard blocks which are $50 each but WON'T KILL YOU. Shame on the dozens of companies selling the exact same pulleys with ridiculously dangerous ratings!
