This is not only an overview, but also a WARNING about other cheap power supplies. I recently bought a used Asus Eee PC which came with the original power supply/charger. The PC worked perfectly, there were no power problems at first. Then, when I turned it on one day, I noticed that the light in the room was a bit dim. I figured I might be drawing too much power, but the only other thing plugged into the power strip was my clock radio. This happened every now and then when connected to an Asus computer. Recently, however, he did something very dangerous: While working on an Asus computer, the light suddenly went out and I heard an "electricity noise". behind the wall (You know that FX sound you hear in the movies when they bring Frankenstein's monsters to life?. Yes. That's bad.) Then sparks suddenly rained down from a nearby electrical outlet. I quickly unplugged the power strip and removed the Asus power adapter which will never be used again. At first I simply attributed this to an "old and used" adapter that would eventually break. But when I researched the new replacement adapter, I found that another Revain reviewer had the EXACT experience with one of these cheap replacement adapters (which, interestingly, look exactly like the Asus factory original)! Now for the performance of PWR+. Power adapter. Appears to be very well made - both the power cable and the cable to the PC have thicker cables than the original cables, and the plastic casing even seems to be of higher quality. It's also inexpensive. This is a MUST be Asus AC adapter/charger. (To be fair, it's possible Asus recalled and/or upgraded their PSU after I manufactured the model, but I don't know). I would give it a full 5 stars except I just bought it and it's still being tested ;) But I don't see any problems. So, advice: DO NOT buy those cheaper quality adapters (you know, just compare the thickness of the cables in the photos with the PWR+ box). Seriously, DON'T BURN YOUR HOUSE TO SAVE A FEW DOLLARS! If it's not a PWR+ adapter, then at least you can find one with the same rugged body and thick cables. Hope that helps. This is a MUST be Asus AC adapter/charger.
