Nice item. The pants are soft enough, I don't know what some people say they are not soft enough? Get a women's pajama set if you want something softer. They are as soft as any long thermal underwear I've ever had. They don't have the hundreds of typical tiny square pockets woven into the fabric that you usually find on long johns, it's more of a very thin ribbed knit fabric which is exactly what I wanted and works well. If you are a tall man order size XL as 100% cotton will shrink a bit. I ordered them for a man with a 36 waist and the size XL was ok. Comfortable waist, slim fit without being tight. Good quality product. UPDATED 1-10-19: Still my buddy. They were naturally white they took on a cream tone after all the washes so I took the Rit color and dyed them a nice gray and they look like a new pair. A big plus is that they are lightweight. to medium weight so I can wear them in 30's to 50's depending on what I'm doing. They don't scratch like polyester because they are made entirely of cotton. It's hard to find something all cotton these days and I'm considering buying another pair. Obtain.
