There are no instructions in the box, scroll down the product listing to find what you need. If you have enough hands and a tape measure, you can install them. You need to consider the weight and size of the cover. I used for an old cedar box with a 24" deep lid. Not sure about the weight, probably around 15-20 pounds. Installed per the instructions for the 75 degree cap and two of those 22.5- Pound openers work great.
