Review on J Tech Digital JTD UH302E Express Adapter by James Handy

I wanted to test this device before writing a review. It would have been 5 stars if it weren't for the obstacles I had to overcome: 1. It was well packaged in the box, but connecting the USB2 power cable to the side of the card was a little fiddly. The center power pin was misaligned in the socket. Maybe something is wrong with the attachment of the parts. But that's where it all ended. 2. The driver software was not installed from the mini CD. I had to go to the J-Tech website where I found the version of the drivers in a zip file. Unpacked and started on my laptop. Everything is set this time. Notice to potential buyers. If your computer gives you a choice between a 34 Express Card and a 54 Express Card, choose 54. I have this card in slot 54 and I have to be careful or it will pop out of the slot. (card issue or laptop issue - not sure) Other than that it handles two USB3 flash drives with no issues. It works fine with my USB3 hub. The next task is to work on a large disk. I am sure he will do his job.
