Media failed to load. It's one of those tools that you just can't understand why it hasn't been made for so long and why it took so long to try. This is an absolutely amazing floor marking tool. My husband often installs hardwood and tile floors, and at times it can be very unforgiving to match the floor to the items. The rulers are made of black thermoplastic. It combines an adjustable protractor with planar measurements/adjustments. The entire assembly is driven by a set of sliding plastic nuts. It seems that they can easily be overtightened and stripped of the threads in the plastic nut. This is a layout transfer tool, do not overtighten. It doesn't take up much space and can save a lot of time when doing odd jobs. My husband never realized how much of it he could use until I bought it for him.
