This SharkbBite connector is a quick way to get a good connection. I even worked with a pipe that water ran through. Cheap stuff and does the job right. This piece will allow you to connect and last for years. I've used them in projects at home. And yes, for those of you wondering, this part is internally threaded. I have provided product images.
