For drying PLA for 3D printers. and he keeps it well at 10%. I returned one because I bought a box of 10 yards that ALL showed this stuff didn't go below 26% humidity in a bag - which is why I returned it. But then I also tried silica gel and it couldn't get the meters below 26% either! I ordered new gauges from another company and all 4 quickly showed the humidity had dropped to 10% - Yes. , I had a bunch of *12* faulty gauges! Unfortunately I have already returned an item which I thought was not activated or something similar. it is, it works fine. The label says to charge the material by heating it in a steamed oven at 1050F for 2-3 hours. Hmm, didn't expect to do that any time soon. I've heard that it's also possible to squeeze the water out with a microwave, and in a short amount of time without any special equipment. It would be great if you could do this. I just leave the used part in another container and then try to charge everything at once. or just buy more. From my research this should bring the humidity much lower than the gel as it keeps water at a much lower humidity level. I just have no way of confirming it.
