They are far better and far cheaper than anything intended for plants. They are ideal for trimming slightly woody flower stalks or thick herb clumps that are too thick for micro scissors and too difficult to reach for full size bypass scissors. These are the best scissors like this you can buy. I'm glad Amazon sells them alone. They are only sold in a more expensive set from Lowe's and while a leather holster and boot knife are cool I will never use them. These are at home.
