Review on 🚙 Rugged Ridge 13101.09 Center Console, Gray (Locking) for 76-95 Jeep CJ/Wrangler YJ by Anthony Lopez

I tried to replace my non-original center console in 83 CJ7 (the console is about 15 years old). I can't remember the brand but it looks just like this one so I decided to change it up. (The vinyl on the old console is stained and was never cleaned.) Aside from that, when this NEW console came out it was clearly different. NO more plywood construction like the old one and the new one uses THIN chipboard that flexes just by pulling it out of the box. Vinyl is not just vinyl, but a cheaper, wafer-thin leather variant. The top corner where it curves is broken, probably due to the wrong look. Embroideries are also inexpensive. I am in business and do not leave negative reviews. However - ENOUGH CHEAP IMPORTED PRODUCTS. This will be sent back. I'd rather pay to make one or make one even if it costs more. Disappointing where we have gone with quality these days.
