Conclusion Front: It looks exceptional on paper, but in fact it has serious flaws. Below are my thoughts on the matter.1. Superb video quality day and night.2. Sturdy and well built, feels good quality.3. Videos stored on the device without the ability to easily retrieve them all.4. Does not integrate with other Eufy security products such as a doorbell or home base.5. Motion detection hits or misses, mostly misses.6. Frequent disconnections from WiFi.7. Pricey for what looks like a beta test device. I was considering Eufy security products for my home and when I saw an opportunity to get a floodlight camera and video intercom at a good price I jumped at it. I like the videos and recordings this camera produces. They are very sharp and clear, do a great job day or night. Unfortunately, this is where love ends. This is a stand alone device that does NOT integrate with the doorbell or I have discovered something else in the Eufy security system product line after much research. It's perfectly reasonable to expect that anyone who buys this device would want to integrate it into their security system, but this product falls far short of that. It is not easy to watch all videos offline. The only way to download videos is to select them one by one and download them one by one, which makes it useless and cumbersome to use. If this could be hooked up to a doorbell or home base it would be a lot easier to integrate into a full fledged security system and it would be far better. Motion detection and connectivity are questionable at best. No matter how I change the settings to set up the motion detection, it either seems to fire for everything or miss almost everything, there is no "in between" in this product. It often disconnects from the network and cannot be reconnected quickly, making downloading videos to watch very difficult. Setup and installation is relatively easy. Eufy supplies a plug-in cable for installation and configuration before installing outdoors. Once configured, installation only took about 5 minutes. It literally took me longer to get the ladder out than it did to install the floodlights. The cost is also an important factor when using this device. At $200, it's a beta product (at best) with a premium price tag. For the money, it should be a lot more powerful and (functionally) polished than it is. At half the price it wouldn't be hard, but at this entry point it should be better. After all, if you don't need those exact features, save your money and find something else, you'll be happier in the long run. run.
