Review on ROCKBROS Mountain Bike Pedals: Lightweight Aluminum Road and MTB Pedals with Sealed Bearings for BMX/MTB by Michael Walker

smaller lightweight pedals that don't turn easily

These oil slick pedals look interesting but little information, just over $20 so I chose them for a kids bike. The box was pretty broken but the pedals looked okay. They are butterfly shaped and fairly small, around 100mm x 90mm, and light weight as advertised. The spindle sticks out quite a bit, so the quality factor isn't as tight as it could be, but it's suitable for a small adult or large child. The biggest thing you'll probably notice right away is that they don't spin easily. I disassembled a pedal which was pretty easy, it's pretty solid but mostly spins on a greased shaft so resistance is high. To be honest, it's a deal breaker for me, which is why it only gets 3 stars. Perhaps over time it will break and rotate more easily. The workmanship seems pretty amazing but there are a few sharp edges on the inside of the metal, nothing you would touch lightly, you can tell the metal is very sharp by putting your fingers in the pedals. What I really like are the pins, they're smooth so they probably don't dig in too much, but they probably don't scratch your foot that terribly either, so it's good for kids. They look interchangeable but not sure, but even if you could find replacement pens they probably wouldn't be worth it at this price point. Not sure I can recommend these pedals based on the torque they feel, they are smooth but too slow.

Cons
