Incredibly sharp and incredibly durable. I bought this two years ago to use on an old Hitachi miter saw. I have experienced NO degradation in cut quality over TWO YEARS of moderate to moderate use. Two years of moderate use doesn't seem like much, but when I bought this blade I didn't know what I was doing and was making relatively dangerous cuts, resulting in the blade seizing and causing miter saw kickback. and yet I have the same cut quality as the day I installed it. The only downside I noticed is minor and maybe not even bad for a beginner: if I cut too hard (and cause chatter) or cut with insufficient grip (and the blade suddenly lands on a new cutting line), the blue paint rubs the workpiece. . This dye is destructive and requires a great deal of grinding or other cutting to remove, especially from the end grains. If you use this saw blade with the correct feed rate and reliable (also known as safe) performance, this will not happen. I found out that blue color on my job meant I screwed up and had to find a new approach to make the cut, so this scam was actually positive in my case. I will buy the exact same item again.
