Best blade for the price

I have been a carpenter for 24 years and have used many blades in that time. And while I've used better blades than this, I haven't used a better blade at this price point. If I want to spend more than 100 euros on a blade, I can get a better blade. But for the money, this is the best blade I've found. Inexpensive enough to use every day on all woods, from super hard to soft woods, you won't find a better blade. I love this blade and will buy more if needed.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Better than Freud and very quiet!

Extremely happy. I bought it because I didn't want to spend the $80 Freud charges for their melamine blades. I got more value for the money I could ask for. The cut is the cleanest I've ever had. The slot is very thin, in fact it's the thinnest that will fit on my sawing machine and the blade is exactly 10 inches long while Freud I for some reason they are 1/4 inch shorter and I always had to re-adjust the brake on the saw after changing the saw blade. Did I mention how quiet this blade is? At…

Possibly the best blade for sliding miter saws.

This very reasonably priced Makita is one of the best blades I have ever used. And by far the best for my slide miter saw. Miter saws are noisy and generate a lot of dust. This thin blade does both well. The fine kerf significantly reduces dust and is quieter than a regular kerf. The lower drag also reduces the tendency of the blade to rise in the grooves. Through cuts in both hardwood and softwood are smooth and clean. I don't use a thin kerf on a table saw because the blade will accidentally…

Great blade, great price

This blade is a great fit for a carpenter's miter saw. It produces ready-to-glue blanks using only a minimum of material. It will handle heavier materials, albeit with some effort. I've used it at 2x for framing and even the occasional PT and it works well, albeit quite slowly as you'd expect from an 80t blade. Works well on plywood. But where it really shines are cross cuts in fairly thin material like 1x boards and battens. The cuts are just great and tearing is minimal even with fairly thin…

Excellent 10" 80 tooth blade. I bought 1, tried it on a few different things, then bought enough to replace my table saw, radial saw, and miter saw with this blade. I can't put it better than that as I'm glad I replaced all of my main cutter blades with these. Also for the price it is CHEAP. I compare it to Frueds which are in the $70 range. I don't want to spend that much on my main cutting blades. So this is the best blade for your standard cutting blade. It might be a little good and not…

We were looking for the "right " blades.

Two blades (Makita A-93681, 10 inch, 80 tooth, micro polished silver) were better than expected. When I received the blades I compared the table saw cuts with the above blades to 4 other blades I had at the store, good blades too. However, when comparing cuts of the same piece of wood, I noticed that the smoothness and cleanliness of the cuts on the Makita A-93681 were slightly better or noticeably better than the other drives. I also installed a second Makita A-93681 saw blade on my miter saw…

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • String shorter than other picks

Incredibly sharp and incredibly durable. I bought this two years ago to use on an old Hitachi miter saw. I have experienced NO degradation in cut quality over TWO YEARS of moderate to moderate use. Two years of moderate use doesn't seem like much, but when I bought this blade I didn't know what I was doing and was making relatively dangerous cuts, resulting in the blade seizing and causing miter saw kickback. and yet I have the same cut quality as the day I installed it. The only downside I…
