I'm happy: Toilet seats

So the goal was to replace my 15 year old cast wood seat. Should be easy enough, right? Oh no. I have read many reviews and most of them range from excellent to rubbish. Okay, makes a pretty tough decision. In the beginning I marked this as an opportunity and in the end, when I couldn't wait or explore anymore, I agreed. Three issues bothered me reading the reviews: 1. The hole is too small. Luckily there were measurements online and surprisingly the hole is actually slightly larger than the current round seat. There are no problems here.2. The seat is flat. Yes, that's right. The old seat was "contoured" and in my experience, on days when you needed to get away from the outside world and curl up in a dresser for quiet reading, my legs would soon get a little numb in the legs. I think it was good because it didn't let me monopolize the toilet for too long. I find the flat seat much more comfortable and not numb at all.3. Loops and quality are terrible. After a month of use I would say they are fine. There are comments about broken hinges. I'm sure quality can vary from place to place and overall reliability can vary by installer, but so far I haven't seen any issues. If you pull out the Doc Brown and stand on it to hang the clock on the wall, it might not stand up, but I'm sure it will be used for its intended purpose. In general, people are different and have different wants and needs. So when it comes to choosing a location, you might just have to take the leap of faith and try it yourself to see if it fits. Boxer shorts or briefs come to mind lol. If the quality bites me again I'll update my review. In the meantime I will say that I would happily buy it again.
