I've made at least 20 of these hats in the last 18 months. Both children and their parents love them. The yarn is comfortable to both knit and wear. My only objections are that (1) you need to secure the "topper" with extra yarn to prevent wobbling, and (2) the pattern size isn't accurate at all. I had to play around with this to make big hats. But they fully justify their price! My niece, a big Green Bay Packers fan, said she lost the number of strangers who stopped by and asked where she got a Packers cap for her son. (Now he wears his second and larger size).
