in less than a week 30% of the lights were off in one section at a time. it wasn't really wet. and i mention this as i had another brand that appeared to be the exact same components and i would bet the same manufacturer from a different supplier. The other set was very water sensitive despite being advertised as waterproof. These are two sets that required a return in less than 2 weeks. that was my first sentence. bought stood in a box and they came out of a clear polythene tube inside. I prefer the streamlined results without the PE tube but the ones protected by the PP tube the entire time I've owned the bike. during a year. I'm on my 3rd set of unprotected lights, let's see what happens. The weird thing is that while I believe the same manufacturer makes all of these products, they failed in several areas. I will continue. they look cool and make it safer for you to get up at night because you won't be as in the background as you are during the day.
