I have been using K&N filters for many years and haven't had a single lubrication problem since. A few years ago I had issues ranging from oil flow and cold starting to valve and cam issues. Since then no problems. It costs extra money. I buy them and take them everywhere they do oil changes. I've even had places where they refused to use the filter I supplied (Michel's Tire's Plus) so I stopped going there. Now they will only accept your filter if you have a receipt from O'Reilly's. Be sure to switch to these filters!
