I have too many magazines in my closets, bookshelves, garage and pantry. Although this device is expensive, it has all the features you need to efficiently scan them all and archive them in a digital format for storage and archiving. I especially like the auto-scan feature that triggers when a new page is found; You save yourself the hassle of triggering with a hand or foot switch. I also appreciate the software's features that smooth scanned images and remove distortion. I hope I can use this to turn all my disappearing logs into a usable archive that I can access and store on my computers. I'm increasingly concerned about the fire hazard lurking in those stacks of dry, aging paper. It would be nice to get rid of them.
