Impressive Multilingual Document Scanner

Based on my observations, this document camera has been a game-changer in my office. The multilingual auto-flatten technology has made scanning documents so much more efficient and convenient for my staff. The image quality is impressive too. However, it could benefit from more user-friendly software for seamless integration with other office electronic devices.

Took this for a magazine archive

I have too many magazines in my closets, bookshelves, garage and pantry. Although this device is expensive, it has all the features you need to efficiently scan them all and archive them in a digital format for storage and archiving. I especially like the auto-scan feature that triggers when a new page is found; You save yourself the hassle of triggering with a hand or foot switch. I also appreciate the software's features that smooth scanned images and remove distortion. I hope I can use this…

The best book scanner I've ever tried!

Have this to digitize the books I still have in paper form and am very happy so far. Setup is very easy and intuitive, and I only consulted a small guide once to make sure I didn't miss anything. Comes with a software CD, but you can also download it directly from their website (viisan(dot)com, then go to Support > "Download Drivers & Manuals" > Download Book Scanner and VIISAN OfficeCam Utility) - 332MB zip file.
