I no longer use plastic straws as they are not very environmentally friendly. I've tried paper straws, they're not a bad option, but they tend to fall apart when you use them. I've used metal straws, but I don't like the metallic taste I get when I drink with them. These cane straws are a great alternative to both straws because cane straws don't soak like paper straws and don't leave a metallic taste like metal straws. These sugar cane straws are eco-friendly, they stay strong (no spoilage) even after many hours in your drink, and they're biodegradable! I also like that these straws have some flexibility because I have a terrible habit of chewing my straws and they don't break while chewing like plastic straws always do. Nice straws and I highly recommend them!
