Good Straw Straws

I have tried all the eco friendly straws and these are the best. They don't bend, break, soften, or taste. Perfect my morning juice drinks!

Strange texture on paper and plastic

At first I thought they had a slightly sweet taste, but they aren't, and the texture on the lips is like cardboard or fine sandpaper. Not satisfied, I will not buy again.

These are incredibly strong straws. No taste but so persistent!

Depending on your preference, it can be good or bad that they don't taste sweet. These straws are tasteless and very durable. I can use the same as long as I want and it doesn't fall apart like a paper straw. First, it breaks a lot easier than plastic, so I'm more comfortable with it.

Shelf life not as stated

According to the product description, these straws are suitable for hot drinks up to 70 °C. I tried to test it and used it in my morning tea. After folding the two straws into a moderately warm cup, I measured the temperature of the straw and the tea myself. These straws will break down and become unusable at around 47°C (116°F) - well below the advertised 70°C (158°F).

Paper & Plastic still uses plastic

I bought these as an alternative to plastic straws that don't get wet like paper straws. So far they seem to be working great. They even have a nice sweet smell, but that doesn't affect the taste or anything. Unfortunately, they are still shipped wrapped in polyethylene. I assumed Revain would be in a plastic mailer by then, but I was hoping the companies' packaging would be paper. Instead, they are in a plastic bag.
