Review on 💪 RAM Mounts Twist-Lock Composite Suction Cup Base with B Size 1" Ball - RAP-B-224-1U by Jeremy Sabey

I've been using these for my YouTube channel and boat for a few years now. It never let go. I have converted all my GoPro and Tactacam mounts to Ram mounts and really appreciate the ease of use with the right mounting angle. I loved the suction cup mount so much I bought another one last week for my second GoPro and used it on the boat for a second angle. At noon, while fishing, we heard something hit the hull of a boat and there was a smack. The mount let go and sent my silver GoPro Hero 4, Sennheiser mic, GoPro connector with big dog bone and suction cup mount to the bottom of the Atlantic! He was seated about 1.5 feet from the artillery piece, but had to be excited when he let go to avoid falling into the boat. (Maybe it will even be a video on my second camera!) I never had a fault with the first one and wasn't expecting it, plus I thought it was far enough away from the gun in case something happened. Needless to say I am very disappointed and almost $500 for what I paid for everything. They usually seem to work great, but DO NOT trust them completely! If you're using this somewhere where there's a chance a failure could cost you your gear, make a string and tie it!
