This suction cup opens wide enough to leave plenty of room for wiring. The terminal screws don't loosen much unfortunately, so you'll have to slide the wire in and then around them to get a tight fit. Not too comfortable. The only screw to close the sandwich is far back and in the middle, which means you'll have to strip the outer sheathing of the wires at least as far back as the wire can run on either side of it. I want the outer casing to be tight up to the fork, and at least up to the fork, so it needs to be carefully cut. A little uncomfortable. For that they are quite cheap and they are not big and clunky like many replacement plugs. Not bad.
