For water softener.
Bought 2 bags of 20# to refill my large Pelikan water softener system (filter). Refueling etc. went well BUT (and this is very important) there was a lot of coal dust and fine sand which even after a lot of backwashing and use (3 weeks so far) still gets in and clings to everything. I asked IPW about the mesh size, they said 10x30. Well, maybe some of that, but like I said, there were a lot of little things that just weren't fun to deal with.
