What a joke pots and pans

I think the video says it all. I cooked three times on this expensive garbage. First time was a hamburger patty with chopped onions on the side. The hamburger cooked well over medium heat but the onion in the corner burned. I ran the pan through the dishwasher. A hard crust formed in the corner where the onion burned and didn't come off in the dishwasher. In fact, it won't budge even when brushed with a nylon bristle brush or my thumbnail. I finally removed it by soaking the black crust with pure Dawn for two days. Even after that, it took a lot of strength and effort to clean the pan with a plastic dish brush scraper. The grilled cheese sandwich didn't go well. We used it again for pancakes, and no matter how carefully we tried and no matter how much we lowered the cooking temperature, the pancakes were too brown. I've been around long enough to know that this is a sign of cheap flimsy metal kitchenware. The best part of the story started about a week later when I pulled it out and found it was so warped it wouldn't even sit flat. I've had many of these types of pans over the years and when they warp they always have a slight bulge in the center rather than a corner that folds in about ½ inch. This pan has never been used on high heat or washed while still hot. I know it better. the smartest. I paid $40 for this item and will definitely request a refund.

Pros
  • Reinforced base prevents warping, rocking and wear over time
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
