I keep it simple, I have a completely custom setup that costs around $3500-$4500. I don't put anything in it that I think might have faulty wiring or something worse. Almost every part of my machine is made by major PC brands (e.g. EVGA, Corsair, ThermalTake), this is actually the only exception (not including wired adapters/extenders) and I'm not afraid that this might be an issue. EDIT: Beware of losing sata connections or cables even falling out. I had my first drive cleaner when my boot SSD had a loose connection to one of the cables and possibly took my backup drive with it (which was replaced, I think it broke along the way) but it happened in the same run. When I asked for wire specs to replace with better quality (and colored) ones, the only option offered was to buy no spec singles from them for 5.99 each with shipping to Japan. Insanity. It's a good product but customer service is zero and so cheap they don't even point you to your own choice of cables. Insulting, to put it mildly. When I reassemble my rig I'll figure out the specs myself and buy better ones as the swaps work great. It works exactly as it should, my only issue is the colored cables with no grommet or color choice, and where are the sata power connectors since my gpu is mounted vertically. It was a tight fit, but it fits regardless and works great. I have 4 drives that I swap (not hot-swap, although I've tested that. And it works, cycling it on and off to put the drive back in if you want) working together with a drive that as a backup i use /swap drive with no OS running with all of them. I've already used it with Windows 7/10 Pro x64 with my Rift. I ran all drives at once (no power issues), I usually run one at a time and switch between them all at least a couple of times. perfectly fine, and installation would have been easy without my GPU mount. I did a lot of research before buying and I can say it was definitely a good choice. some time (read edit above)
