Good device but limited range with standard antenna

I used this device to replace a TP-Link EAP-110 that suddenly started giving me problems. It's a lot easier to set up than TP-Link, and unlike TP-Link, the antenna is a bit adjustable so you can direct the beam. I bought it based on the advertised range of 600 feet, but I only get about 200 feet (line of sight) with the standard antenna that came with it. It should be noted that for the 600 foot range you will need a separate UMA-D antenna for another $100. Needs clarification, hence a star deduction
