I bought this to fix an intermittent dashboard issue in my 2006 Silverado. That fixed the main problem. Two complaints though. The backlight is a different color (whiter) than the factory backlight, probably because the factory backlight is incandescent and LED. I still feel like they could have nailed the colors better. The second complaint is the feel of the headlight switch. The factory switch feels pretty smooth when rotated to different positions. This one gets harder and "clicks" into place, which doesn't really feel right. Since my problem was mostly with the electronics inside, I took the electronics out of the new replacement switch and plugged them into the factory light switch housing. . This solved the feel problem, but I still have mismatched backlighting. Not a big problem, but still bothers me a bit.
