There are so many variations of this light style on the market its hard to make a decision. Hopefully this helps. Overall these are about as bright as a 150W equivalent standard LED bulb. You can direct the light and you will need to if you want good coverage. Lift the panels 10-20 degrees from horizontal and you will cover 20ft or so unless you have really low ceilings. The light is bright white, very good for a shop. They start right up in 30 degree weather. No noticeable hum. The big question is how long before the LEDs start failing? I'm thinking a few will go in year 1 and if I get 5 years out of them it will be worthwhile.
