Review on 🏡 DII Chindi Home Collection Handmade Multicolor Rag Rug, 20x31.5, Multicolor Area Rug by Donna Tran

I read on the reviews that this rug is not machine washable and that the label only recommends a spot treatment, but I bought it anyway and hoped for the best. I put it in the kitchen knowing it would get dirty but figured a spot treatment would do the trick. Not correct. It took 3 weeks to get so gross I decided to try it in the washing machine. I put it on "sensitive" and "heavy soil" and it looked pretty whole. The line was dry for two days because it is so thick. When I put it back in the kitchen and did a final inspection, I saw that the ends of the rag were getting a little fuzzy in places all over the carpet. Nothing special, I thought, but maybe I'm not expecting enough. I have included photos of the lint I am referring to and the carpet after washing. When I have time, I'll cut the lint off with scissors. Can it take 5 minutes? gets so rude again, i will try again and post my updated experiences. I have read some reviews that said their rug fell apart in the wash and others that their rug held up great. I saw a lady who said her denim rug held up well in the washing machine and I bought a denim rug too. Perhaps there is something special about this particular color and/or the materials used in it? Or is it the settings on your washing machine? Note: I had a 4x6. Update July 21, 2019: I machine washed this rug a second time and it held up the same wash as the first time. I'm very happy, really.
