So glad I bought this. I used my French Press to make hot coffee and then placed it in another container to cool. I'd like to drink less acidic coffee, but I also wanted to keep it in the fridge without having to brew a new pot every day. This coffee machine makes it possible! I can not only prepare a cold drink for several days, but also serve it from the same vessel. This is an incredibly beautiful serving piece - beautiful in its simplicity and easy to use. All you have to do is fill the cylinder in the middle, pour water into the container and chill. How long you leave a full cylinder in the pot depends on how strong you want the coffee to be. I love strong coffee, so I leave the grounds in the pot for 12 hours. Then I take out the cylinder, run water through it to clean the set, and put the empty cylinder back in the pot. Easy right? And it makes the most delicious mild coffee. I am a true coffee lover and I can tell you that this way of making coffee is incredible both in taste and ease of use. Don't hesitate to buy this cold brew coffee maker! :-)
